CloudFormation Stack Is Not Integrated With SNS

Overview

UPDATE: Per AWS, Integrating AWS CloudFormation stacks with Amazon SNS topics is no longer a security best practice. This check assesses the presence of an Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS) notification integration within a CloudFormation stack. Failure of this control occurs when there is no SNS notification associated with the CloudFormation stack.

Setting up an SNS notification through your CloudFormation stack ensures prompt alerts to stakeholders regarding any events or modifications taking place within the stack.
