OpenSearch Domain Has Software Version Updates Available

Overview

Check the availability of updates for Amazon OpenSearch Service domains. Amazon OpenSearch consistently launches system software updates to introduce enhancements or enhance the performance of your domains. The Notifications section in the console provides the simplest method to determine the presence of an update or review the update's status. Alternatively, you can receive these notifications via Amazon EventBridge. Should you choose not to act upon necessary updates, Amazon OpenSearch will automatically update your domain's service software after a specific interval, usually around two weeks. In this scenario, Amazon OpenSearch will send notifications upon initiating and completing the update process.
